The basic substance used is a lipoprotein complex, of totally vegetal origin, capable of restoring an ideal physiological acid pH. This is also a biocarrier of Glycine, the most widespread amino acid in proteins. In addition to being an important part of the Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF), Glycine is a major constituent of the proteins that give firmness and consistency to the tissues and contributes to the maintenance of the skin ecosystem. It is well known that healthy skin has an acidic pH essentially due to lipoproteins processed by our own skin systems: they normally maintain an acidic pH on our skin surface. Aggressions due to the external environment and/or caused by dysfunctions of different nature often cause damage to these lipoproteins and this favors an alteration of the acidic pH of healthy skin towards alkaline values. It is easy to understand how it is necessary to provide the skin with substances with an acidic structure, especially well tolerated ones, to eliminate this alteration.These substances are able to restore the normal acidity of healthy skin, thus maintaining it in its optimal state.
